Why should I get a sewer scope on an older 55+ home?

Short answer: A sewer scope runs a small camera through the sewer line to show the pipe material and its condition. Many homes built in the 1960s and 70s originally had Orangeburg pipe (bituminized fiber), which can soften, flatten, separate at the joints and let roots in. Greg highly recommends a sewer scope during your inspection period, especially in Sun City and Sun City West.
